Quick Change Crib

Have you ever struggled to change the bedding on a crib? Untying all the bumper strings, lifting out the mattress and having to put it all back together again? My kids are now too old for a crib, but I wish I had this crib when they were babies. What a neat idea and it was invented by a mom - go figure!

If you go to their website, you can watch a short video on how this crib works. There is no untying bumper strings, no lifting out the mattress, everything just slides out the side door.

The crib is available only online - this is to cut out the middle man to keep costs down - and is very affordable. This is a must see for any new parents out there or if you are expecting.

Personalized kid’s books are a great way to get your children interested in reading. When a child sees and hears his/her own name in a story, they get very excited and tend to be much more interested in what’s being read. Plus they will learn to read and write their name quicker by seeing it on every page.

Planning Meals To Save Money

What’s for dinner? That is the most stressful question in some households but it doesn’t have to be. I know it’s not easy preparing and thinking of recipes everyone will enjoy. I have some picky eaters at my house and believe me, sometimes this makes dinner a time of stress. But don’t fret too much, or dinnertime will become unpleasant and that’s the last thing you need. Dinner should be a time to talk and catch up on the day’s events. Try as hard as you can to have everyone sit together every night and eat.

Dine Without Whine - Your #1 Source For Online Meal Planning

Not only has the price of gas gone up, but just about everything else has too. Food alone is eating into the family budget more and more. How many are in your family? 2? 3? 4? More? I have three kids, so that makes 5 of us altogether. We are on one salary and are finding it tougher and tougher to stretch that dollar. How do you stop wasting money on food that is thrown out, and start buying more efficiently, so that waste is eliminated?

Protecting Our Children

Protecting Our Kids :
 From Television

kidswatchingTV.jpgThe world we live in is not always ideal. We need to know our kids are safe. Safe on the internet, television, the street, you name it! As Moms we are constantly watching our children. Here are a few good places to start:

Parent Television Council

Keeping our children safe from what they watch on t.v. is what the PTC is all about. As parents we need to become active and support those who are trying to make our homes a safe environment for our kids. The PTC is fighting the “big corporations” in public t.v. and telling them that the filth and garbage that comes into our living rooms has no business on “family cable”. These cable executives will tell you to filter out the objectional programs. Well, this is all fine and dandy, but you are still paying for what you aren’t watching! We need to tell these executives that “enough is enough”. Go to the Parents Television Council and join them in fighting the indecency on America’s televisions.
