Time To Lose Belly Fat Gained By Holiday Binging
If you were like me this past Holiday season, you ate way too much and gained way too much belly fat. Yes, belly fat. I swear this is the year, I will lose belly fat and fit into all my old clothes. I am in my 40’s now and I’ll tell you, with each passing year, it gets harder and harder to lose that belly.
This is especially true if you’ve given birth. You gain weight to cushion the baby, but then it doesn’t come off! Why is that? Unless you have the benefit of a personal trainer, it is real hard to get this off.
I’ve been doing some research though and found that by changing some things about the way we eat and exercise can have a real impact on how quickly we lose belly fat. I always thought you had to do a million crunches and situps, but have found that those aren’t neccessarily what will work and by doing a full-body workout, you can see results even quicker! I’ve been doing it all wrong.

A New Year Is A Great Time To Get Organized
One of the first things we did for the new year was start to get organized by putting up shelves in our garage. We were lucky enough to have the help of my dad - who is an excellent carpenter - and without who’s help we would have been totally lost. The shelves look great, are functional and have gotten rid of all the clutter on the floor.
They were not expensive - less than $100 bucks for all the wood. We even got a workbench out of the deal. It makes me so happy to walk out into the garage now and see a floor! Now we just have to get the rest of the house organized.
Happy 2009 Everyone!
It’s been a while since I’ve written a post, but I have taken some time off to be with my family during the Christmas Holiday. I hope you all enjoyed your celebrations and had a Happy New Year…Now it’s back to work and the start of a new year!
I bet you all have lots of new year’s resolutions and would like to start this year off on a great note. I also would bet that you’re all glad that this past year is behind us and that 2009 will be the year that we turn around and begin to pick up the pieces that were scattered all around us.
I hope that this year will find you in better spirits, a better job or anything better that you have been longing for. These are tough times that we are in and it takes lots of creativity just to make ends meet for some of us.
