What to expect in first year of marriage?
We’ve been together for 3 years and living together for almost a year. We’re planning our wedding but it feels like we’re already married. What will the first year of actual MARRIAGE be like?
I respect the other answers, but I don’t agree. I lived with my husband for a few months before we got married. For me there is a difference. Being married, for me is different than living together. I don’t know if I can explain it here so anyone else could understand it or not.
Taking a vow before God, friends, and family is sacred. It did change things for me. It’s forever, till death do us part. It’s saying you are in this thing for life. I told my husband I will be there for him in sickness and in health, for better or for worse. We stopped “playing house” that day. It’s the real deal now.
