Happy Thanksgiving!

thanksgiving or happy thanksgiving Pictures, Images and PhotosI will not be on here tomorrow, so I would like to extend a Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. I feel sometimes that life can be really tough, but when I think about it, I have alot to be thankful for. I don’t always realize that I have so much already, right here in front of me.

I have a husband and three great kids. I have a wonderful Mom and Dad and brother & sister. I have three brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. Two nieces & four nephews. Uncles, Aunts & Cousins and more… We have a home, health & just enough to get by. I have a great friend who is going through a tough time right now, but who could teach us all a thing or two about courage and being thankful even when things get bad.

And a God who watches over me and my family and who I know does not let me live alone. He is always there, even when things don’t seem to go the way we want them to. Sometimes it might seem that He doesn’t care or doesn’t answer us when we call to Him, but I think we need to look for the answers, because sometimes we just don’t pay attention.

I am very thankful for all that I have and I hope that all of you are thankful today too. Remember what Thanksgiving is really all about.

Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. Hi Lisa! I’m glad we have such a day set aside in our country to give thanks. With the internet, I’m in touch with friends all around the globe and some of them are envious that we have this say set aside just to be thankful.

And, as our pastor reminded us on Wednesday night, it’s also a time to be thankful that we could give. Whether it be time, energy or money, we all have something to give to our families, communities and country.

Even in hard times, it doesn’t cost anything to be thankful!

Thanks, Lisa. I hope your holiday was a blessing.
    Deb
