How often do you bathe your infant?
Her cord just fell off couple of days ago and i’m about to give her first bath…just wondering how often you’re supposed to bathe an infant because different people are telling me different things. Some say everyday, some say twice a week. Also, do you use soap to wash the face and put lotion on afterwards or do you just use water for the face and put nothing on afterwards?
My baby is 3 1/2 months and I bathe her about once a week…usually when she poops all over! haha I used to bathe her more often before I went back to work. I would do it everyday if I had time. There is really no right or wrong answer 
As for putting something on afterwards, I don’t. I just completely dry all of her creases and inbetween all of her rolls and toes and put powder in her diaper! No problems so far! Good luck! Oh..and when I gave my daughter her first bath she screamed the entire time lol not how I was picturing it….
Edit: And for her face, my pediatrician gave me a sample of Dove for sensitive skin for her baby ance. I still use that on her face just to keep it clean! And the nighttime body wash really works!
